Senator Cory Booker was in Princeton, NJ today to open Hillary Clinton's N.J. campaign office. RACS 206 (Residents Against Compressor Station 206) volunteers took this opportunity to spread awareness of our opposition to the proposed compressor station. We showed up at the venue with home made protest signs. We were also accompanied by our kids who did a great job of shouting slogans. In fact their slogans attracted Senator Cory Booker's attention and we got the chance to interact with him for a few minutes.
We told the Senator that RACS volunteers had written to his office many times about the compressor station, but never got any reply. The Senator introduced his staff member and promised to look into our concerns.
We hope that our concerns are heard and that we get concrete help from Senator Cory Booker's office.
